Scott has over twenty five years experience in the institutional and personal investment consulting industry. Scott began his investment management career as a retirement plan consultant with Aetna Capital Management in 1983, advising to qualified retirement plans. In July of 1993, he joined an arm of The Frank Russell Company expanding his institutional experience to include foundations and endowments needing a disciplined and prudent approach to achieving long-term investment goals.
Scott earned a degree in International Relations from James Madison University and holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification. He has passed the Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (or AIF®) studies from the Center for Fiduciary Studies, associated with the Katz School of Business at the University of Pittsburgh.
Scott is a past board member of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Tampa Bay and currently sits on their advisory board. He chairs the board of St. Francis Children’s Day Care, Inc. A member of the Investment Management Consultants Association, Scott is also active in the Financial Planning Association of Tampa Bay and the West Coast Employee Benefits Council. |
