Mary has over 11 years of experience in the financial services industry and currently serves as the Chief Compliance Officer for CapTrust Advisors, a Registered Investment Advisor with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

In addition to her role as Chief Compliance Officer, Mary has been instrumental in the creation of new client service initiatives for CapTrust. She works closely with the firm’s partners, investment consultants and professional staff to ensure CapTrust provides the highest level of quality service possible to both new and existing client relationships. She provides new clients with the education and support vital to a smooth transition. She fosters those relationships by remaining accessible to our clients and receptive to their needs.

Mary currently leads the firm’s development of a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system designed to enhance the quality of the client experience. She also participates in the firm’s Investment Research Committee. This in-house committee of Investment Consultants and Analysts is responsible for screening, researching and monitoring separate account managers and mutual funds.

Mary serves as Treasurer of a non-profit advisors association. Its members include independent investment consulting firms nationwide. This association enables its members to develop a deeper understanding of the challenges faced by other consulting firms in the marketplace. It also provides a forum to share industry “best practices.”
She was also influential in the creation of the CapTrust “Path to Partner” program to promote and encourage employee ownership of the firm.
